    Chuck Norris is so amazing he can:

    Light ants on fire with a magnifying glass. At night.
    Disarm five criminals in five seconds. With one hand.
    Slam a revolving door.
    Make the boogie man scared.
    Clap with one hand.

    Did you know I always thought you were braver than me? Did you ever guess that that was why I was so afraid? It wasn't that I only loved some of you. But I wondered if you could ever love more than some of me.

    I knew I'd miss you. But the surprising thing is, you never leave me. I never forget a thing. Every kind of love, it seems, is the only one. It doesn't happen twice. And I never expected that you could have a broken heart and love with it too, so much that it doesn't seem broken at all. I know young people look at me and think my youth seems so far away, but it's all around me, and you're all around me. Tiger Lily, do you think magic exists if it can be explained? I can explain why I loved you, I can explain the theory of evolution that tells me why mermaids live in Neverland and nowhere else. But it still feels magic.

    The lost boys all stood at our wedding. Does it seem odd to you that they could have stood at a wedding that wasn't yours and mine? It does to me. and I'm sorry for it, and for a lot, and I also wouldn't change it.

    It is so quiet here. Even with all the trains and the streets and the people. It's nothing like the jungle. The boys have grown. Everything has grown. Do you think you will ever grow? I hope not. I like to think that even if I change and fade away, some other people won't.

    I like to think that one day after I die, at least one small particle of me - of all the particles that will spread everywhere - will float all the way to Neverland, and be part of a flower or something like that, like that poet said, the one that your Tik Tok loved. I like to think that nothing's final, and that everyone gets to be together even when it looks like they don't, that it all works out even when all the evidence seems to say something else, that you and I are always young in the woods, and that I'll see you sometime again, even if it's not with any kind of eyes I know of or understand. I wouldn't be surprised if that is the way things go after all - that all things end happy. Even for you and Tik Tok. and for you and me.

    Always,
    Your Peter

    P.S. Please give my love to Tink. She was always such a funny little bug.

    Do not fall in love with people like me.
    I will take you to museums, and parks, and monuments, and kiss you in every beautiful place, so that you can never go back to them without tasting me like blood in your mouth.
    I will destroy you in the most beautiful way possible. And when I leave you will finally understand, why storms are named after people.

    God loved the birds and invented trees. Man loved the birds and invented cages.

  • Man Quote #10

    Haven't you ever heard that modesty is an attractive trait?
    Only from ugly people, Jace confided. The meek may inherit the earth, but at the moment it belongs to the conceited. Like me. He winked at the girls, who giggled and hid behind their hair.

    Cassandra Clare

    He continued to stare out the window. I meant what I said before. You need to walk away, Pidge. God knows I can't walk away from you.

  • Man Quote #12

    He had a new girl, and I told him she looked like Marilyn Monroe. He smiled because he thought I meant she was beautiful, and I smiled because I meant she looked like a corpse.

  • Man Quote #13

    His skin was a pretty colour, it made me jealous.
    Jacob noticed my scrutiny.
    What? he asked, suddenly self-conscious.
    Nothing. I just hadn't realised before. Did you know, you're sort of beautiful?
    Once the words slipped out, I worried that he might take my implusive observation the wrong way.
    But Jacob rolled his eyes. You hit your head pretty hard, didn't you?
    I'm serious.
    Well, then, thanks. Sort of.
    I grinned. You're sort of welcome.

    If a man cannot understand the beauty of life, it is probably because life never understood the beauty in him.

  • Man Quote #22

    If you feel lost, disappointed, hesitant, or weak, return to yourself, to who you are, here and now and when you get there, you will discover yourself, like a lotus flower in full bloom, even in a muddy pond, beautiful and strong.

  • Man Quote #23

    It happens like this.

    One day you meet someone and for some inexplicable reason, you feel more connected to this stranger than anyone else--closer to them than your closest family. Perhaps this person carries within them an angel--one sent to you for some higher purpose; to teach you an important lesson or to keep you safe during a perilous time. What you must do is trust in them--even if they come hand in hand with pain or suffering--the reason for their presence will become clear in due time.

    Though here is a word of warning--you may grow to love this person but remember they are not yours to keep. Their purpose isn't to save you but to show you how to save yourself. And once this is fulfilled; the halo lifts and the angel leaves their body as the person exits your life. They will be a stranger to you once more.

    It's so dark right now, I can't see any light around me.
    That's because the light is coming from you. You can't see it but everyone else can.

  • Man Quote #24

    It was many and many a year ago,
    In a kingdom by the sea,
    That a maiden there lived whom you may know
    By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
    And this maiden she lived with no other thought
    Than to love and be loved by me.

    I was a child and she was a child,
    In this kingdom by the sea;
    But we loved with a love that was more than love-
    I and my Annabel Lee;
    With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
    Coveted her and me.

    And this was the reason that, long ago,
    In this kingdom by the sea,
    A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
    My beautiful Annabel Lee;
    So that her highborn kinsman came
    And bore her away from me,
    To shut her up in a sepulchre
    In this kingdom by the sea.

    The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
    Went envying her and me-
    Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know,
    In this kingdom by the sea)
    That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
    Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.

    But our love it was stronger by far than the love
    Of those who were older than we-
    Of many far wiser than we-
    And neither the angels in heaven above,
    Nor the demons down under the sea,
    Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
    Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.

    For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
    Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
    And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
    Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
    And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
    Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,
    In the sepulchre there by the sea,
    In her tomb by the sounding sea.

    Edgar Allan Poe

    It's not my responsibility to be beautiful. I'm not alive for that purpose. My existence is not about how desirable you find me.

  • Man Quote #29

    My God, Sage. Your eyes. How have I never noticed them?

    That uncomfortable feeling was spreading over me again. What about them?

    The color, he breathed. When you stand in the light. They're amazing... like molten gold. I could paint those... He reached toward me but then pulled back. They're beautiful. You're beautiful.

    Richelle Mead
  • Man Quote #30
